This is everything I expected and so much more! And I lurve it!
Yes, this can standalone but I seriously don't know why you'd want to not read the first 2 books in this series. These Winston boys, I tell ya, GAH, I want to be Ashley, their sister, yes! They're all too adorable and lovable for words, GAH!
Anyhoot, this is about Cletus. Cletus is everything I expected and so much more! See, there's another reason why you can't skip books in this series. You need to build up to the experience of Cletus:p Right from the start, I doubt he won't catch your attention.
He's odd, he's sneaky, he's cunning, he's sweet, he's funny, he's quiet, he's smart, he's thoughtful, he's caring, he's sincere... He dances to his own beat and stays true to himself... He really is quite an enigma... Regardless, he makes me smile...
And to get a h like Jenn, there couldn't have been a more perfect pairing. I mean, they're the least likely pair but when it boils down to what really matters, they're just the right match.
Jenn is quite an interesting h herself. She's the kind of daughter born in a past era. Yet she isn't. She's just as odd and cunning as Cletus, and yes, just like him, she's just as sweet, funny, quiet, smart, thoughtful, caring, and sincere. She did her best to dance to her own beat and stay true to herself, with the help of Cletus.
Ultimately, the kind of love they have is authentic to the core.
I've said it before, I'll say it again. FLOVE the Winston brothers!!!
