Blurb

A sexy category romance from Entangled's Brazen imprint... He's stealing more than her heart… Whiz kid Liv Altman is working on Internet anti-piracy software that could be huge. It could also be dangerous. And someone wants it badly enough to blackmail only the very best hacker—the infamous and reclusive Jonathon Crestwell—into stealing it… Liv usually has no trouble ignoring the computer geeks she works with every day, but her new corporate consultant is definitely not easy to ignore. He's tall and dead hot, with deep blue eyes that make Liv think the naughtiest of HR-violating thoughts. When she finds him unexpectedly in her office one evening, things take a turn for the sexier. But come morning, Liv will discover the truth about her new employee...and what he really wants.
Review

It occurs to me that after finishing this that the entire story took place in 3 days or so only, not counting the epilogue, so then add 2 more days. That’s really a small amount of time for anything to develop, as far as I’m concerned, but hey, I guess attraction is attraction O.o

The premise, I thought, was interesting. You’ve got these 2 techies where one was supposed to “outwit” the other, not by choice, but boy-meets-girl and bam, can’t, ‘cause as it turns out, uh-oh, there’s this pull between each other, so that just made it a little more complicated ‘cause that means feelings will be involved.

For the techies that they were, there wasn’t much complicated tech talk which was fine ‘cause I would have just been lost. For the techies that they were, luckily, they weren’t made into stereotypes that’re emotionally and socially stunted despite their brilliance… ok, to a degree… what they did each have though are family baggage.

I didn’t fully understand the H’s thought process and I felt the h was way forgiving too fast. And things were resolved all conveniently at the end.

But just like any Entangled Brazen, it’s a pretty quick read, it does engage you from beginning to end, and, of course, you get the heat. *grins*
